
Duration of Study: Master’s 3 years, Doctoral 4 years
Commencement Date: Late August to early September each year

1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and meet the requirements stipulated in the Ministry of Education Document [2020] No. 12.
2. For Master’s Programs: Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree and be under 35 years of age.
For Doctoral Programs: Applicants must hold a master’s degree and be under 40 years of age.
3. For Chinese-taught programs: Chinese proficiency must reach HSK Level 4 with a score of 180 or above, and the score report must be provided.
4. Applicants must demonstrate good moral character and conduct, be in good health, and be willing to comply with Chinese laws and regulations as well as the rules and regulations of Tianjin University of Technology.
Note: Applicants whose Chinese proficiency does not meet the program entry requirements may apply for the university’s “1+3” or “1+4” preparatory program. Upon completion of the preparatory program and after passing the entrance examination with the required HSK level, students may proceed to graduate studies.

Please log in to the Tianjin University of Technology International Student Application System (https://tjut.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx) to complete the form online.
2. Foreigner Physical Examination Form
Scanned copy of the original should be provided. Applicants must strictly follow the required items in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. The form must be completed in Chinese or English (this form is uniformly printed by Chinese health and quarantine authorities). The form will be considered invalid if any items are missing, if it lacks a personal photograph, if the photograph is not stamped with a seam seal, or if it lacks the physician's and hospital's signatures and stamps. 3. Certificate of No Criminal Record (Scanned copy of the original).
4. Highest Academic Diploma/Degree Certificate (Scanned copy of the original should be provided. Prospective graduates must provide an official pre-graduation certificate issued by their school).
5. Official Academic Transcripts for All Courses Completed During the Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Program,scanned copy of the original should be provided.
6. Study or Research Plan in China
Applicants must submit a study or research plan written in Chinese or English (no less than 800 words for Master’s applicants, and no less than 1500 words for Doctoral applicants).
7. Research Achievements
Materials demonstrating academic accomplishments and research capabilities, such as published papers, award certificates, or invention patents.
8. Certificate for Language Proficiency
For Chinese-taught programs, applicants must submit a Chinese proficiency certificate. An HSK Level 4 score report (within the 2-year validity period) with a score of 180 or above is required.
9. Scanned Copies of Passport Pages, scanned copy of the passport information page and all pages containing visas, valid at the time of application.

11. Applicants who were former residents of Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, or Taiwan Province and have obtained foreign citizenship; or applicants one or both of whose parents are Chinese citizens settled abroad, and who acquired foreign nationality at birth, must provide:
(1) Passport pages showing immigration entry/exit stamps for travel to/from Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, or Taiwan Province over the past four years (up to April 30 of the application year).

12. Recommendation Letters
Applicants for Master's or Doctoral programs must submit two recommendation letters provided by professors or associate professors.
Notes: a. Applications with incomplete or non-compliant documents will not be accepted.
b. Application materials will not be returned, regardless of the admission result.
c. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be accompanied by notarized Chinese or English translations.

Log in to the Tianjin University of Technology International Student Application System at https://tjut.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx. Please register, complete the application form, and ensure you upload all required application materials accurately.

2. Take the Entrance Examination (Interview or Written Test)
Upon receiving the examination notice, please attend as scheduled. Specific arrangements will be communicated via email. Please ensure your email address is correct and active.
3. Track Your Application Status Online
Monitor your email or log into your registered account on the Tianjin University of Technology application system to check your application progress and status.
4. Admission and Enrollment
Admission results can be checked via the Tianjin University of Technology International Student Application System. Admitted students must strictly adhere to the registration and enrollment dates specified in the admission notice. Original graduation certificates will be verified during on-campus registration. Failure to present the required certificate will result in the cancellation of admission eligibility.
